Baby Pictures!

This is a picture of the left side of his face. You
can see his mouth, nose, and if you look closely
you 'll notice his eyes are open.

This is a picture of the whole left side of his body.

He was being shy and covering up his face. He sleeps
just like his Daddy with his arms uo in the air. LOL.

And this picture pretty much explains itself. Its a BOY!

If He's Anything Like Me!

Friday December 10, 2010 we got some very exciting news. Me and Gregg found out that this May we are going to be having a beautiful baby boy. My husbands reaction to the news that he was expecting a son was one of the most unforgettable moments of my entire life. We had been admiring our little one on the screen when a new picture popped up and the ultra sound tech says, "Well guys can you tell what your having?" (which i must say was VERY clear) "ITS A BOY" Gregg immediately started sobbing he was so happy. I of course was crying from excitement and from the fact that I am so proud that I can give my adorable husband the one thing he has wanted more than anything. His own little Boy to carry on his name! He told me after we left that it was one of the best days of his life; until the day he is born. It just felt really special to me.
That morning when we woke up we had a "sign" what was coming. The first song that came on our alarm that morning was Brad Paisley 's song "Anything Like Me" which since we found out we were pregnant have said is Gregg's song through and through if we were to have a boy. We always turn it up loud on the radio when we hear it and I always tear up cuz the words just fit so perfect. Listen to it its amazing. I will post pictures soon.

Our Bun in the Oven!!

Me and Gregg on Halloween I was a oven with
a bun in it and Gregg was the bun maker. LOL

The oven the timer is our due date and there were
two knobs. One could turn to boy or girl (gregg turned
it to the boy) and the other pointed to how many pounds it
will be. Which gregg also turned to TEN pounds. meany!!

We went and visited Bryson and Rylie on Halloween.
They looked so cute. I loved all our nieces and nephews
costumes. Its such a fun time of year.
Me and my beautiful Sister Jessica. We are
both expecting and we are only ten days apart!!

I told my parents they had to dress up so they
showed up to Bryson and Rylie's as the Blues Brothers.
Lol they are so funny. It was also our sweet little niece
Kylies birthday. What a lucky little girl everyone gets
to give her candy on her birthday. Hope it was a wonderful day
for her and for all of you. Now on to more holidays my favorite!

I just have to say I feel so lucky to have Gregg in my life I really could not ask for a better husband. He literally treats me like a queen he does all the cooking, cleaning and any other possible thing he feels will make life easier on me. Big Changes!!

I thought I would let everyone know that after four years of working at samson and delilah salon I decided its time for a change so when I found out one of my closest friend's family was opening a new salon something inside me told me it was the right thing to do. So September first was my last day at samson and as of september 7th I will be at a brand new salon called FRINGE STUDIO. I also have been fortunate enough to build a full service salon in my home which we have named CURL UP AND DYE! lol. I'm very excited for both of these big changes in my life. Oh and I also got transferred to a new school this year and it has been so amazing. I cant explain how rewarding it feels to be given the opportunity to do two completely different jobs that I absolutely love. Thanks to all my family and friends for all there love and support in all that I do.

Happy 27th Greggy

Gregg turns 27 tomorrow so we had a birthday party tonight to celebrate. It was Lakers/Toy Story 3 themed. Ha ha. We spent the day first seeing Toy Story 3d which was awesome then we went out to eat then ended the day enjoying Lakers cake and ice cream with our families. It was a pretty great day and it was so fun to try to theme it around the things that he loves most. Especially since the Lakers won the championship. Wah Hoo! Love you greggy hope you had a great day!

Happy Birthday Kanyon Man!

Today is my nephew Kanyons 4th birthday; so I decided to make a slide of some of my favorite all time pictures of him. Every Family probably thinks this of there own kids, but I truely believe he is the best little four year old that ever exsisted. Lol, that may seem like I'm exaggerating but me and Gregg really seem to think so. He is so independant, funny, helpful, and of course freakin adorable. Two weekends ago him and his family were here for a visit and Kanyon decided he would cuddle with me in our love sac (which is my favorite ever but he is so active it rarely happens.), and as we were watching t.v. Kanyon asks me, "Jena, is it okay your my best friend?" So stinkin cute. Yes Kanyon man your mine and Greggs best friend and we love you so much. We miss and love you so much and cant wait to see you again. Love you!

Baby Animal Days and House Update

So this weekend my whole family was up and we were able to go to baby animal days. It is one of my favorite days of the whole year and it was so much fun to be able to share it with Gregg and all of my nieces and nephews. It makes it twice as fun to watch the little ones get so excited at all the different animals and be able to hold most of them. Not the baby bears of course but they were the highlight of the day. It was amazing to get so close to them and watch them play around, so cute. And our house is moving along quickly. My brother in law Ryan was up most of the week working on it ( we are so grateful for him and all his help). And they start framing tomorrow. Yay!

Our Next Adventure

So we are so excited to let everyone know that we started building our house one week ago. Sierra Homes is building it and man do they move fast. This picture was taken one week after they started and the scheduled time to finish is sometime in June. We are so happy to be having them build for us because they have been so amazing and helpful to work with. It really has been a fun experience for me and Gregg and we are so excited to watch the process of it turning into our home.

Happy Birthday Rylie!

Today was my niece Rylie 's 8th birthday. Her and her brother are two of my favorite people in the whole world. They have taught me so much about life and how to appreciate the time I am given with the people I love. I hope my sister does not mind but I have to share one of the most inspirational stories I experienced with Rylie.
For those of you that don't know my niece and nephew were both born with a rare type of Muscular Dystrophy which as part of that left them both paralyzed at birth. A few months ago Rylie was staying with us for a few days to help prevent her from getting the same sickness her brother had (swine flu). It was a sunday and mine and Gregg's Anniversary so we had gone to celebrate. We came home to find Rylie in the dining room coloring some pictures. I walked over to see what she had drawn and it was a rainbow with a picture of her and some friends. She titled the picture "I Dream Of Walking." I put my arm around her and began to tell her that thats why they do all the fundraisers for Muscular Dystrophy is to try to find a cure so she could walk some day, and that there is always hope that her and her brother will be able to walk some day. It got quiet for a minute then she smiled and looked up at me and said, "Its okay Jen, I will walk when I'm in heaven." I couldn't hold it back I just started to cry. The strength that little girl has is amazing and I'm so grateful for her. Its proof to me that there really are angels among us. Love you Rylie bugs hope you had the best birthday ever!!

What we have been up to

So a lot has gone on the last couple weeks. A few weekends ago my whole family went to a monster truck rally for my nephew Kanyon's birthday it was so cute to see that little man so excited to see those big trucks; he never took his eyes off them. Then last weekend my sisters Jamie's kids came and stayed with us while her and her husband went to Mexico. It was so much fun having those kids with us for a couple days. We even got to celebrate Saylor's birthday while she was here and had a little birthday party. I have to admit Saylor was such a good sport dealing with me, I just loved dressing her up and of course doing her hair at least three times a day. Ha Ha poor thing. Man do those kids love their uncle Gregg. As long as he was there everyone was happy. lol. It was a good experience for me to see how much they love him and love to be around him. Reassures me that he is going to be an awesome dad someday. I also want to say how happy I am that my niece Rylie got to come home friday after being sick in the hospital for a week. She is one tough cookie and I love her so much.

Gregg is always coming home and showing me pictures of different jobs he has been working on and I think its awesome how proud he is of what he does. I think it is a sign a true craftsman and as you can see alot of talent. Him and his coworkers do amazing work and I just wanted to share with all of you some of the projects they have done and what he has shown me.

Its Mario Time!!

I was so excited the Herds surprised us and came up this weekend. We love those kids so much and always have so much fun hanging out with them. This picture was taken friday night when Gregg and the kids decided to have a video game tournament. I was too tired to join in on the fun so I decided to go to bed. I woke up a few hours later and was surprised that Gregg had still not come to bed so I walked into the family room to find all four of them in the same spot on the love sac fast asleep with controllers still in hand. It was so funny and so cute at the same time to see them all snuggled together.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN

HAPPY HALLOWEEN
As you can tell me and Gregg dressed up as bacon and eggs. ha ha. It was the first time in years either of us dressed up and Im so happy my husband was such a good sport about it. We spent halloween night at my sisters house watching my all time favorite halloween movie Hocus Pocus.

Me and my niece and nephew on halloween night. Rylie was a "cute witch" as she would say and my nephew was Edward. The man of all our dreams. It was a fun night.

We or should I say I dressed up our kitty for halloween. He absolutely hated it but put up with it for about five minutes to make me happy.

Rollercoaster

Rollercoaster
So I had to show everyone this picture of our family on the Atlantis rollercoaster at sea world. The looks on everyones faces is priceless. Lol, especially my sisters and myself.
