Happy Birthday Rylie!

Today was my niece Rylie 's 8th birthday. Her and her brother are two of my favorite people in the whole world. They have taught me so much about life and how to appreciate the time I am given with the people I love. I hope my sister does not mind but I have to share one of the most inspirational stories I experienced with Rylie.
For those of you that don't know my niece and nephew were both born with a rare type of Muscular Dystrophy which as part of that left them both paralyzed at birth. A few months ago Rylie was staying with us for a few days to help prevent her from getting the same sickness her brother had (swine flu). It was a sunday and mine and Gregg's Anniversary so we had gone to celebrate. We came home to find Rylie in the dining room coloring some pictures. I walked over to see what she had drawn and it was a rainbow with a picture of her and some friends. She titled the picture "I Dream Of Walking." I put my arm around her and began to tell her that thats why they do all the fundraisers for Muscular Dystrophy is to try to find a cure so she could walk some day, and that there is always hope that her and her brother will be able to walk some day. It got quiet for a minute then she smiled and looked up at me and said, "Its okay Jen, I will walk when I'm in heaven." I couldn't hold it back I just started to cry. The strength that little girl has is amazing and I'm so grateful for her. Its proof to me that there really are angels among us. Love you Rylie bugs hope you had the best birthday ever!!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN

HAPPY HALLOWEEN
As you can tell me and Gregg dressed up as bacon and eggs. ha ha. It was the first time in years either of us dressed up and Im so happy my husband was such a good sport about it. We spent halloween night at my sisters house watching my all time favorite halloween movie Hocus Pocus.

Me and my niece and nephew on halloween night. Rylie was a "cute witch" as she would say and my nephew was Edward. The man of all our dreams. It was a fun night.

We or should I say I dressed up our kitty for halloween. He absolutely hated it but put up with it for about five minutes to make me happy.

Rollercoaster

Rollercoaster
So I had to show everyone this picture of our family on the Atlantis rollercoaster at sea world. The looks on everyones faces is priceless. Lol, especially my sisters and myself.
